I was in my ma's loft yesterday looking for a spare lamp and found her light box that she uses in the winter to get over SAD (Seasonal affective disorder).
It's a pretty powerful light and I was wondering if it is suitable to use given that she won't be using it for a few months.
Here's a link to it: Brightspark - Lightboxes - Lumie (http://www.lumie.com/shop/products/brightspark)
spec doesn't mention lumens but does mention lux which a quick wiki check suggested it was a better light meter check than lumens as it takes into account distance from subject. it's 10,000 lux at 20cm which seemed like quite a bit.
Could someone let me know what you think please.
cheers
