View Full Version : My Success Story vs DOT UA, plus my winning technique present day

So I got this great job with great pay. Only problem was on the application, a few months before getting the job, I agreed to be subject to a pre-employment UA, as well as random UA's thereafter.

And it's a DOT job so it's no flimsy dipstick test: they send samples to Florida and perform NIDA 5 Panel w/ NIT

So I did this:

I found out I got the job ~5 days before I had to show up. Before that I hadn't smoked in ~ 4 days. So my first day at work I was ~9 days clean. The week leading up to the test I ate as much fast food and carbs as possible exercised MINIMALLY, and intook generous amounts of creatine daily.

{{{ 10 days clean was really hard... I usually smoke ~1oz / month not counting smoke sessions with my friends}}}

Btw I'm 6'1'', 185 lbs, normal build. Male.

Anyways, Sunday night I did N2's self-dilution method (excellent sticky on this site, btw) and pissed into a 4oz steel flask. I put the flask in the fridge overnight.

Monday comes, I put the flask in my steel-toe work boots so it's well-hidden. However, no UA on Monday.

As soon as I get home I put the flask back in the fridge.

Tuesday morning, I put the flask in my boot again. And Tue morning comes the UA. Amazingly, I got to drive there from work with my supervisor following me in his car, so just-in-case I got my QCarboXXX bottle from the glove compartment and chugged it on the way. I also got to chug like ~50 oz of Gatordae w/ the ~20 oz of QCarbo. (Oh btw I pissed twice in ~4 hours prior to the test).

I get there, and I begin to get real nervous. I assumed the flask crammed tightly in the bottom of my boot would heat it, but as I look at the form it requires 90-100 degrees. Suddenly I'm glad I chugged that stuff on the way over, I may be calling an audible after all.

I go in, the lady asks me to empty my pockets. I do. And I just walk right into an empty room. Awesome.

So of the 5 ml I had to fill, I filled it 4/5 with the flask and 1/5 with my natural urine (at the way end of the stream, never submit the urine that vcomes out first). I hoped that would help the temperature out.

Anyways I step out, and the lady has me pour the specimen into two containers, and has me seal them and sign my name. She never took a temp, even though my "receipt" or whatever has a checkmark for 90-100 degree urine.

Good news is I passed, no red flags whatsoever, and next time it happens I'll probably do 100% N2's dilution piss.... I'm very skeptical of these magic potions.

FWIW I've since developed a great system where you put aside like a week out of the year and have 51 weeks worth clean urine:
- I ordered 500 8ml glass test-tubes. They're extremely small and can fit in tons of footwear. And if temperature is a real issue, squeeze em in your armpits for 15 minutes prior to test and they aught to be body temp.
- I went clean for another 10 day stretch, and from the 5th day on would constantly self-dilute inbetween meals, and piss into the test tubes. It takes about five days self-diluting 2 or 3 times a day into these containers to get about ~4 liters of clean, legit urine. Don't dilute more than 3 times in a day, stretched out over ~18 hours, or your creatine will get too low and watery.
- 500 of these tiny things fit in three or four shoeboxes in your freezer. Frozen urine just needs to thaw to pass a test, which again, is extremely easy... just body-heat for 15 mins.
- Also frozen urine is valid urine for UA's for up to ~ a year, so by the time they'd apparently start failing tests you're out of stock and need to begin another cycle (assuming you have a 5 day work week like me).
- Every day I go to work I put one 8 ml tube in each boot (in case one breaks... you really only need ~5 ml to submit), and when I get home I pour the urine out. I've heard varying things about the expiration date of valid urine for UAs, but with 250 work days' work (I don't work weekends :stoned:) plus holidays, I only have to do the 7-10 jones period once a year.
- I've never had a test tube break inside my boot during a day of strenuous labor (walking, crouching, driving, kneeling) if you figure out a logical way to put them in your sock/boot.

Btw you can buy like 1000 test tubes for like $40 they're insanely cheap.

And they're such small containers if I had to urinate in front of someone I could at least attempt to palm a test tube, they're that small.

So that's my story/system, I'm happily employed at the great job and I've never aroused any suspicion whatsoever. It feels good to be able to balance an outstanding job and not have to sacrifice my liberty of enjoying Cannabis off the clock.

Special thanks to n2, great dilution sticky, so I'm bumping the link

They only asked you for 5 mls, a teaspoonful, of urine. Most labs tests need 30 mls at least and 45 mls if doing a split sample. Are you sure?

There wasn't a strip on the vial? Well if it was 5 mls that would be a small vial. If there was a strip, those collectors do this all day long and can snap a glance at that strip and tell without you ever knowing but then again there's that 5 ml thing again.

5 ml of urine sample is an insufficient volume under the regulations mandated by DOT. DOT requires 45 ml of sample, which is split 30/15.

With DOT testing, there are regulations and protocols that must be followed by the collectors. Failure to follow the regulations can result in the collection facility losing its certification to conduct DOT testing, which can lead to the end for them as a business. Collectors are not going to risk this by asking for only 5 ml of sample.

Yeah you guys must be right, I'm awful with decimal measurements but I know for sure I brought in a 4oz flask and wound up only needing a fraction of it.

Indeed 5ml is tiny, I stand corrected

Probably was 45 ml then. Which means I need to get new test tubes :(

I suck at math, probably why I drive for a living

The rest of the post should be accurate though

Oh wow I thought they'd dip a digital thermometer in there. There very well could have been a strip.

The flask was compressed in my boot tightly for several hours so it was warm, and I sprinkled ~20% of the substitute with real urine. (the 10 day sober, 20oz qcarbo 50oz gatorade real urine)

I'd be surprised if it was 90+ though. I thought she straight up assumed. And I passed. So idk.

And fwiw it was a legitimate, professional urine analysis place my company uses.
