What do you say when you get pulled over with med. marijuana in your vehicle and a cop asks you if you have anything illegal on you. I know your not suppose to consent to a search, but if you told the cop that you had herb on you for medical reasons im pretty sure the car would get searched. In other words should you come out and tell the officer your a patient when he first asks that question as soon as he pulls you over?

Ask him why he's asking. He has no right to know anything other than you have insurance and a legal drivers license. I know its difficult dealing with these thugs but until people start reinforcing there civil rights the thugs are going to keep harrassing innocent people.

Yeah, I agree. Another asshole trying to intrap you with some bullshit ploy. You have a right to remain silent and without real probable cause, he's shit out of luck in a real court. :D

Also, if he asks you to step out the car, remember to roll your windows up, lock your door and put your keys in your pocket. If he asks to search your car, don't answer the question. Simply, ask him the question, "Am I being detained or am I free to go?" If you answer his questions you are falling into, what Barry Cooper calls his "gotcha games." Below is a little preview from the DVD.

anything you say to him can and WILL be used AGAINST YOU, not HIM, in the court of law.. thats the thing.. the catch though, is they won't tell you that until you're under arrest (which is because they're obligated to)..

you have a 5th amendment right against self-incrimination, meaning you DONT have to answer him.

in my experience, I talked in circles with the thug. He definitely got ticked off, just like the cop in the video. I even pulled a confused stare like the kid did, I was LMAO in my head (couldnt believe I was actually doing it, and couldnt believe they couldnt do anythin about it but be more of a dick on the charges and the procedures)

One incident went somethin like,
COP: "you're a little far from the college, what are you doing around here"
Me: "what?"
COP: "what are you doing around here"
Me: "wh..wh....???" [confused look]
COP: "why are you in this area sir"
Me: "my lawyer, uh.."
COP: "your lawyer?? you're here because of your lawyer?"
Me: "no"
COP: "so then why ARE y-"
Me: "well he said dont talk to the cops"
COP: "who said"
Me: "my lawyer"
COP: "whos your lawyer"
Me: "MY lawyer. and he said don't talk to the cops"
COP: "yea well whos your lawyer"
Me: "my lawyer said dont talk to the cops"
COP: "ok you wanna play smart ass"
Me: "no sir"
COP: "i'm trying to work with you here and you're not cooperating"
Me: "anything I say can be used against me in the court of law"
COP: "so what does that mean?"
Me: "you're the cop. thats rhetorical, im merely exercising what I know of my rights"
