OK, well tomorrow i'm getting my first tattoo, i don't know what to expect on how it gonna feel, i was wonderin should i get high before hand or just go sober, anyone had any experience like this?

well, really, i dont see a big difference. u can always drink alcohol it may be less painful, but it wont make a big difference if u smoke. do what u want eh the rest is up to u :eek: :D

NO BOOZE BEFORE TATOO. It thins your blood and you'll bleed so much that the tatoo guy can't finish the tat.

I think tatoos are retarded and people get them to fit in. Ever see the miller lite commercial, when the referee calls a penalty on that guy for having a tribal design on his arm? That's what I mean. Half the time you get a tatoo and then ten minutes later you realize it sucks.

Of course there are a few exceptions, I like tatoos that actually have some significance (sp) or they actually mean something. I'm sick of seeing douche baf muscle heads with barbed wire wrapped around their biceps or some gay tribal design, even though they belong to no tribe what so ever.

If you're gonna get a tatoo, get one that actually means something.

NO, GO SOBER.
Ideally, you should be completely sober for at least two days before your tattoo. At least that's what I've heard everywhere.
It'll hurt more if it's somewhere bony, like on your ankle or something, as opposed to like your ass cheek.

Koshea I don't have any tatoos. I just read over my post and it sucks cause I was drunk earlier, I meant to say that MOST tatoos are retarded. I like real unique ones that you don't see often.

Just spend loads of time chosing the right design for you, I only have one tatt but it's a big piece and I love it - got it 10/11 years ago. But I've seen some horrors :eek:

I smoked during my first session, my hubbie wanted to stay and watch. I think that had something to do with the fact that my tattooist looked like he shoulda been weilding a chainsaw in some horror flick. He was gorgeous though, so I don't remember too much about the pain. :p

im gon get a tat on my left forearm that says BRI E781 in old english. then im gon get one on my right shoulder that wraps down to where my elbow bends in old english that says Blakk love, and im gon get one on the left side of my khest thatll say TeK89. and mabey one akross my stomakh that says WESTSIDE but thats all that i got planned for now.

being high for my last tat was fun. you're in a chair with a stranger for a few hours, so you might as well be loquacious (sp?). It's fun to get tats that mean something secret, if you still haven't decided. My last one is the mark of the Zodiac, sealed in me with all christian spirits exorcized. I tell people it means I like boobs.

In any case, what is it you're getting/got?

I got a Pantera "CfH" tattoo on my shoulder. It says RIP DIMEBAG around it. Pantera is my fav band and always will be so i guess it means something to me.
