If you're a parent of a teenager and you yourself are a stoner, at what age do you think you wouldn't get mad at your kid for sparking up his or her self?
My best guess would be a mature sixteen. You know, having demonstrated responsible behaviors and habits.

dude that age is different for everyone, Is say 25, but what do I know, 18 is nice round number that the government has put on everything, So 18 is my vote if you can go to war at 18 then you can smoke a joint if you want to at 18, same with alcohol. It is not right to send a young man or women off to war with out the right of having sex and drinking a cocktail.
If you dint see it , I think alcohol age should be change, and buying sex should be legal with many restrictions, and herb laws should be changed as well. It is not right to tell responsible people what is right and what is wrong, when their actions do not hurt anyone or anything.
right across the street from camp Pendleton their should be a young hotty store where young girls, and guys can go make cash and give it up to the fresh meet before they are sent out to war. Just rambling on waiting for 420

I'm with madsativa, age really doesn't designate maturity. Some guys I know started smoking in grade 8 and they still smoke and you'd never guess. Then there's some people who discovered weed after graduation and are the biggest stoners in the world and they're going nowhere in life.
Just because you've reached a certain age doesn't mean a thing.

right, that's why I said "a mature sixteen". You know, if she's getting good grades and behaving and shit.

Agreed. They need to know you need to take the good in life with the bad.

I feel that if you old enough to die for your country (usually 18) then you should be old enough to drink or smoke.

I'm sure I'll eat my words when I'm your age, but currently I'm going through the whole smoking pot while/instead of going to school thing and I gotta tell you.. I'm happy I smoke. Without it I don't think I'd have questioned the things that I did and got to where I was. I'm happy I didn't follow the masses and go to college just for a degree. Work is work. Getting a degree doesn't mean you'll have it any easier than a guy with a high school diploma. It's a smart thing to do so you have something to fall back on in rough times, but if that's your only reason to go to school.. I say follow your heart. You might find your niche a few years down the road and actually enjoy school then.
But that's just me and I could be wrong..

with youth its okay BUT as you age the words Degree Preferred mean no degree no interview. I learned the hard way and I was a higher up then layoffs and then i had to go back to school to get HALF the salary i got before, BUT at least i got interviews without the degree i got jack and shit. hopefully this doesn't happen to you but it did me and it was a nice swift kick to the balls.
As far as age 18 unless im paying for an Ivy degree then its the day he graduates.

well hopefully by the time my daughter is in the workforce, the politicians will have gotten their heads out of their asses and legalize the shit.

When they are 21, or are on their own.
My own 2 are both in college and both on the deans list. They are responsible adults now. they can do as they choose.
Before any of the other children on here start trying to give me a bunch of 'tude, save it until *YOU* are a parent, and have raised your own kids.
