that is fuckin awesome!!!

i think by now it would be well more than that. either way, green jobs, tax revenue and freed up funds for pursing real crimes and criminals.

what's not to love?!

I don't understand all the enthusiasm ... ?? ... it's an OK publicity stunt/attention getter, I'll give ya that, but I don't see how it changes anything ... after all, it's a worthless, phony check, and politicians have known for years, there's big money in taxing 'vices' (booze, cigarettes, prostitution) ... I re-read it twice, must have missed something :)

you're right image, it doesn't change anything. i was looking at it more from the here is the big $13 billion, giant pink elephant in the room, slap-in-the-face.

of course they know. but there couldn't be a better time for that "imaginary" slap, IMHO. it's sad that we are governed by the way things used to be and not the way things are. our government, for the most part, has no connection with the "real-world". but i guess why would you have too when you make the rules and are profiting all the way to the bank.

that estimated $13 billion almost covers the estimated $25 billion that goes in unpaid taxes by illegal immigrants every year.

i truly do see your point ir. and i agree. but if that imaginary check will jumpstart someone to get active and to challenge the system then i'm all for it!
