Do germ'd seeds point UP or DOWN?

i am a first time grower and am wondering, after i get my seeds to germinate and the white tip is comming out of it do i plant the shite tip facing UP to the sky or DOWN to the bottom? thanks

yup, the part that grows above the ground (leaf) is in the seed, so you want that to be the last thing going in your medium/soil :). Root/"tip" first.
