as i'v been reading about DIY carbon filters and i see someone say its cheep to get Activated carbon online in bulk but i can't find any good sites to order any.

second question is, does anyone know a site to order good vent fans? i was looking at running Masscool 120mm Sleeve Bearing Case Fan 12025S1L34 in Canada at TigerDirect.ca (http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1862464&CatId=494) cpu case fan for are movement inside the unit but i'm more wonder on what to use for proper ventilation.

many more questions to come as i work out all the kinks.

any place that sells aquarium supplies has activated charcoal such as Petsmart, Petco, Walmart just to name a few. For Fans try Coolerguys.com -- Your Computer and Home Theater Cooling Source for Over 10 Years (http://www.coolerguys.com) and look under ac volt fans.

Fan size depends on how many plants you have in flower. If you only have a couple, a small fan like that might work, but usually its better to get a little bigger just in case. I use a 5 gallon bucket with carbon in it and a 6" fan hooked to it

thnx for the help so so far.

kinda adding to the earlyer question but how big of a carbon scrubber do you need and how often do you need to change the filter?

Also what is the expected life span of the carbon? how often do i change it?

looked at the http://boards.cannabis.com/growroom-setup/90173-how-carbon-filter.html and just wonder how big is needed. have a 3' x 6' space
