This pissed me of here is a list the government has of slang for marijuana. What god damn word doesnâ??t mean pot to them? "grinkle" there that another one!

Just some of the errors they've made, excluding all the words that they just made up, and the omission of very common words like "bowl" and "stoned":

Bhang does not mean weed. It's a drink.

Ganja is not a word that comes from Jamaica. It comes from Sanskrit through Hindi.

KGB is a Russian governmental organization, not weed.

Hooters are boobies, not weed/coke.

O.J. is either orange juice or a former football player/murder suspect, not weed.

Salt and pepper are condiments, not weed.

You might get your weed in a sandwich bag, but nobody is going to pay $40 for a sandwich bag.

They spelled "shwag" wrong, and think it just means weed.

Wet is not a blunt mixed with marijuana and PCP. First of all, you can't "mix" a blunt with marijuana, a blunt has marijuana by definition. Secondly, "wet" refers to the state of intoxication under the influence of PCP.

Red cross is not weed, it is an international organization dedicated to giving medical aid.

Yes, I know there are THC pills, but they are not "marijuana tablets". Marijuana is the plant matter itself, and contains many more chemicals than just THC.

According to the American Heritage Dictionary, "kif" does come from an Arabic word, but clearly that's all they know about it.

Interesting how this list is primarily terms about marijuana. Even though it's safer than almost all other illegal drugs, it seems to be the government's main concern here. They don't even have words like "coke", "shrooms", "H", or "speed".

I went through them all. There are maybe 30 or so that they got right. The rest are crap. Here's some more that are just too stupid for words:

They think a bong is just a pipe.
They think a fiend is someone who smokes pot alone (who only smokes with others?)
They think grass brownies is a word for weed.
They think wake and bake is a word for weed.
They think "Maui wauie" is marijuana from Hawaii, but "Maui-wowie" is either pot or meth.
They completely made up the word "unotque". I can't even pronounce that. A Google search reveals only this list and other things derived from it.
They think "up against the stem" means addicted to marijuana. I can't find any evidence on Google of anyone actually using the phrase like that, so it must really be as ridiculous as it sounds.
