Need advice on urine test

I quit smoking on the 28th of July... was a regular smoker for quite some time. I am 5' 11" about 145lbs. Everyone says I have a fast metabolism because I am skin and bones and can eat whatever I want and never fluctuate weight.

I am taking a pre-employment pee test it says it is a 50-10 test (gc/ms ??). I have been drinking lots of water and was at the beach last week so I drank tons of beer and peed like it was my job.

It has been a month today since I have smoked, do you think I would pass? I took a At Home (the brand) Drug Test this morning with my first pee (dirtiest) and a very faint line showed up on the strip, meaning that it is a negative result. It was EXTREMELY faint, like I could hardly see it.

Should I prolong the test date more or just take it tomorrow? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you should be good. Do some light dillution the morning of the UA. Maybe 28 ounces of gatorade,pee 2 or 3 times and use you midstream urine and you should be great.

Excellent, thank you very much for the reply! I think I will stop and get some gatoraid on the way to work and chug it and take my test on my lunch break. Thanks again! I'll let you know how I make out. :)

Just another quick question... do you have to pay for the pre-employment drug screen? It is being done at Quest. I have no insurance, thats the only reason I am asking. Thanks.

No its up to the employer to pay for it. Though I have had a couple try to get me to pay. They don't have to drug test. Its just company policy for most of them so its up to them to pay.

Well I just took the test, and you were right, company pays for it. Now I have to wait until Tuesday for the results. Suppose I should hold off on toking till I get the results? I did exactly what you said. :)

Yep Just hold off for a couple days incase you got a negitive dillute. Think about subbing for your randoms.
