well The season is coming along and i am only about 8 weeks from my average killing frost time (not light frost but -3 or 4 deg C) and despite the constant rain and cloud (not typical for my local) my plants are doing ok. Bane of my growing season has been mold and many potential ounces have been lost (pushing a lb i would say) but at least i will be able to select some mold resistant plants for this years seed crop. So here are some pictures from this morning.

Looking good. Goto hate bud rot :( I have notice on the weather network you guys are sure getting a crappy summer "rain for 2 weeks straight???". Or most of ontario is anyways. I feel for you man :stoned: Love the purp on those girls. Cold sure brings out those colurs eh

Well thanks to all the cloud we have yet to have any cold nights but it will be interesting to see what happens when the nights start to cool off. It actually was sunny all day yesterday but more showers falling at the moment with a little thunder, i am praying for a dry september to finish things up with a little less bud rot. I love the purples as well as you can probably tell

Most of the plants where either directly sown into their pots outdoors i late april or started indoors around the same time and thanks to some decent early flowering genetics they start flowering by early july (highly photosensitive rather than autoflowering) with a few starting as soon as they reached blooming age at aboout 6-8 weeks old (late june). As for blooming ferts i don't give them much extra and just rely on a well balanced soil mix with lots of fossil bone meal added to help those buds plump up.

The purple genes originally came from a bunch of purple strains i grew about 4-5 years back including Purple #1 (good early variety with a couple super photo-sensitive pheno's) Early Purple and Lethal Purple (molds favorite strain) and have been crossing the hell out of them since then. Apart from the Lethal Purple i have found the purple's to be among the most mold resistance types out there.
