Legend's Biker Bob x DJ Short's Flo. Day 24 of Veg.
Already smells dank. Skunky, with a rich cocoa smell. Mmmmm. Took very well to topping and the 'FIM' technique. As you can see, I just LST'ed them too. :D
...Right into some good pictures....

Sorry, gonna have to disagree with that last post... I top mine about that size and use LST.. they turn out to be perfectly healthy, large bushes.
Can't wait to see them bud out!
You're doing a great job man, keep up the good work!
Peace,

yeah they turn into bushes cuse u shocked the plant and it stops grownin up n deverts iot evergy to bush out.... but if u let it grow bigger than top all those all at once it's less stress on your plant and u get big tall topped plants... i wasnt sayin its bad to topp just better results if u grow and bend first then topp...

norkali, I remember seeing your poll awhile back on the honeybee. I voted well after voting was closed, saw my error, and I'm not certain if I left a reply after that - having seen there was not much use any longer. Honeybee looks like a great strain, and all of those beauties evidence your green thumb. As asked above, I would appreciate any and all details about your grow regimen.
Your entire operation looks superb - clean, organized, and flat-out flippin' fantastic! I'm looking forward to following along on your journey to the smoke report. I wish you continued success and good luck, my friend! Be good out there!

Update: 1 male. 3 female.
Unfortunately the biggest, healthiest looking one was the male. Ahh....:D
Stretching quite a bit, but they seem to have been slowing down over the past day or two, which is good.

I'm concerned about them being rootbound; the upside down canoe shaped leaves (thanks stinky) are bothering me. The problem is that I can't fit three of the next biggest pots into my closet.....
I'm thinking of just putting a big Rubbermaid tub in there next time around, like the one I use the hold my nutes/supplies in. Drill a couple holes in the bottom for drainage, fill it with soil, and set it on the racks...it would be a perfect place to transplant after the ones I have them in now.

Having fun here. Branches are already gettin' heavy with 20-25 days left. Added 1 Tbsp./Gal. of blackstrap molasses to a final 'heavy' feeding.

Small spider mite problem, handled. I honestly don't think it will affect yield much at all, they only spread to a couple leaves down below before they were taken out. A grow report I read calls for Honeybee to be ready at 8-9 weeks, or 56-63 days, so were getting there...

Ahhh....harvest. It's definitely fun finding different pheno's; one was ready at 56 days (8 weeks), one was ready at 63 (9 weeks), and one is about to be chopped today. All are looking EXCELLENT! The one chopped at 56 was the keeper pheno for sure so far, she looks as if she will yield close to the same as the other two, with quite a stone, with the early finish at 8 weeks. Too bad I didn't take cuts....2.5 oz off the first plant dry.

I've been busy smoking the Honeybee!
First pic shows what I pulled overall, notice the jar on top isn't full.....well, it was at some point, lol. Clones are Chemdawg, btw.
Pics 2, 3, and 4 are of the first plant, nice and frosty, and she was the first one done. After a couple weeks of curing, her smell reminds me of a watered down bubba kush - light chocolate, cocoa with a sweet and kinda funky dank smell to it. Burns to a nice white ash too, thanks to a thorough flush. As I posted before, the yield was 2.5oz of this lady, she was the keeper. :smokin:

Second plant was good, but definitely not a keeper; yielded a half oz. less than the first, with a week later finish. The buds aren't any better either, IMO. I will have to let here cure for another week or two before I make a final judgment though.

Woah, definitely more of the Flo shining through on this one. Notice the elongated bud 'shoots', she would start to turn amber, signaling harvest, then the next day explode with new growth, new clear trich's popping up to grow and mature. Since she went so long, the flush started to take some color out of the very edges of the buds, I hate when it looks like that, but it usually means it was flushed well and smokes great! Nothing but white ash. Oh yeah, this lady yielded 2.5oz, just like the first, that brings my total up to 7.1oz for this grow. I am approaching my half-pound goal for the closet.
The third pic is of the first plant, just a nice close-up of a tasty bud.

Norkalik, thanks for all the neat tips. I have a little book for those. It is nice to know all the reasons why a good flush is important and why!! Not one article gives all the reasons and I kinda like to know, even if I don't remember, I write it and use it! Appreciate the learnin! p/r: clap: :hippy:
Chendawg, I can taste the description-thanks, I needed the hit!
