Hey, my seeds are arriving tommorow and i would like to know how i should plant them.

I havent really got any worries about anything after that, as i know more or less what to do.

These are the seeds i will be growing (Early Girl) (http://www.potseeds.co.uk/drhemp/index.htm#DH00013)

Can I just dig a 2ftx2ft hole in the ground, fill with compost and put the seed about an inch into the compost? How deep does the hole need to be for compost? 2ft?

Thanks. I cant really grow inside to start off, i have to start them outside. Is this ok?

Im in the UK, but lately the weather is cracking. Is it too late for these seeds?

Thanks a lot! :)

Summary of questions (It was meant to be one, oh well):

1: Do i dig a 2ftx2ft2xft hole, fill with compost. Then plant seed 1" into the compost and water a lot.

2: Can i start the grow outside?

3: Is it too late to start "Early Girl" seeds?

Thanks cannabis! :)

Well Smoke'n'Toke,

I'm not in the UK and don't ever really want to visit either but I could share my two cents with ya.

Questions one and two yes you could do that. I would prepare the site, germinate seeds in a cup of water and then relocate outdoors once they have broken open. Question number three should be answered by a local farmer who knows your climate and environment.

But what do I know?

1st off, yeah its getting a bit late in the year, you should have started them in april/may indoors. You should still start them indoors til they are at least 5 inches high to have some chance against the slugs n stuff.Make sure you plant into a southward facing plot so they get good strong sun most of the day. Also mix in a shitload of perlite/vermiculite for good drainage, ganj dont like soggy roots n no air.Do that and you might have a chance.P.s,start saving those egg shell, and crumble around the stem to keep the slugs at bay.Peace,RM
