if you were to plant outside in the U.S. 6-8 inca spirits which is mainly indica for 5 months could anyone estimate the yeild if you started with a clone 8 - 10 inches tall . quality farmland dirt inca spirits grow up to 2.5 meters and 1 more thing in everyones opinion would a sativa or indica do better outside ... a question for the mass

i usually get about 4oz per plant in tennessee. their grown from seed, started sometime in april, and harvested in sept or oct. not shure of the strain though, but they look about 50/50 indica/sativa.
hope this helps
many sativas have too long of a flowering period to finish up outside, but are much less likely to get moldy than indicas. indicas can stand much colder temps, but, on average, don't yeald as much as sativas.

I grow in Alaska in get a fuck lot more than 4 oz, id consider that a runt. When I grew outside in Santa Cruz and Oregon a one pound plant wasn't a surprise, I could consitantly get 13 ounces plus off of sativas, now In alaska I cant grow as large, but fast sativas can yield upwards of one pound here. others are usually around 10-14 ounces.
O yea, on overgrow Satan documented a grow in Miami where he got 5 pounds off of a 25 foot monster!
wish I had the link sorry :(

well, i grew in NE indiana and we had to stick with plants that finished by mid-oct to beat the frost. this was years ago before we had seed stores or the net for access to other growers like we do now. whatever we had in the bag we planted and had to waste a couple years before finding a strain that would beat the frost. as long as you have an indica or indi-dominant you should be fine. c99 would also do it if you care for a strong sativa that finishes early. i recommend it...especially if you can find originals (if they still exist).
have you checked strainbase at www.overgrow.com ? inca spirit should be listed on it and will have all the breeder's info and possibly grower comments.
good luck...

ya i checked it there is no info on it there is in the marihemp boards but it is 3-4 yr old info plants are lookin good inside so far . we just put in 2 cali orange and 2 shiva shanti were plannin on makin the shiva a mother plant let it go for like 8 months or so but all the strains we have a re indica dominant the inca is 88%, the shiva is like 80% and the cali orange is like 65% indica so they should all be ok then . My plan is to take this mother plant till next spring and throw it outside lol very a big yeild on 1 plant is what im thinking . Anyone have a comment on that

from what i've read so far it seems that indicas can take more cold weather than sativas......anyway.....if you want to get the most out of it try to veg indoors as much possible and then permiting weather go outdoors....in this way i believe that you could get as much as possible from your strains....by the way how's the inca spirit going? i am interested in that strain as well as i've read a couple of reviews about it!
