Hello im new to growing. ive smoked almost all my life or what i rember or it and ive decided to grow. When i get my own place i plan to start indoors but for now im starting outdoorsbecause im still goin to college. i have an outdoors area that is perfect very hard to reach no one even goes back at my spot due to there being no entrances. weather here in md has been off and on rain ive started earlier after the last frost but the sudden rains wipe out my crop.My ? is since there is goin to be off and on rains ive heard of people say you can put a milk jug over the plant with air holes and everything until it becomes more sturdy after a couple weeks of growing is this true?

You'd be better off just growing it indoors for a few weeks under some CFL's.. then after about 3 - 4 weeks transplant outside and hope for the best. be sure to get a good fan blowing on it to help beef up the stalk
I'm sure if someone stumbles upon your plant with a milkjug on top of it they're going to be more suspicious of it than if it just looked like a plant growing normally. :wtf:

Thats the point, its instant classic. If i stumbled upon a cannabis plant with a milk jug id laugh my ass off and take into consideration just how zonked out the grower must be! I think you should keep it on but thats just my 2cents.

A polyethylene shopping bag pinned down with twigs is a decent mini-greenhouse. It looks more natural than a milk jug, because we all know litterbugs leave those things EVERYWHERE! Just watch out for environmental action groups out for Forest Cleanup Day... those cheery, unbleached-organic-cotton-n-Birkenstocks-clad tree huggers will walk off with your greenhouse! :D
