Hello everyone
This is my first grow. The plants are about 5 weeks into flowering (which should take 9-10 weeks) and a lot of the fan leaves and lower leaves are turning very yellow as you can seein the pics.
I've read this is normal, but should it be this extensive so early on? I'm scared whole plants are going to turn yellow soon and die!!
Is it wise to try and fix this with a small amount of N fert?
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks

Five weeks in, yellowing is perfectly normal for lots of strains. I wouldn't supplement with any extra N, as this will promote more new growth as opposed to flower production. My bloom fertilizers have a small amount of Nitrogen in them, as do many bloom ferts, and this is enough to keep the plant from becoming too deficient at the end... but they still yellow like mad most of the time. Nothing to worry about.

Mr Clandestine is for sure your best resource. I was wondering what size your containers are. I experienced the same problem and found increasing pot size was a big help.

They look very hungry. But you are late in flower- how many weeks does that strain run? Make a note of it and next time around, give larger pots as suggested when you flip to 12/12, and consider giving a boost of Nitrogen during the first week of flower- not much, just a small one. Your plants look the correct amount of yellow for about the second to last week of flower.
