I was interested in cooking as opposed to smoking for taking my medecine. Having gone through the various great recipes that are hear I decided to try my first time butter , but with only 1 gram. Yes I know that is small and still I kept what I believe was a good ratio.
I used a double boiler which I won't again. Lot more maintenance along the way. I did read through the compensations regarding the use of double boilers. I used a candy thermometer a few times and saw the temp at 150-180F. That was of course the temp of ghee / pot mix. So I did think perhaps that was too low , maybe not cause it was like this for 7 hours. Nothing burned and from what I could tell there was no evaporation of the butter. The ghee was green though. I would say the final color was a light green, clearly a green but on the lighter shade no as dark as the picture in BobBong's tutorial.
So bottom line is I had no result really , though here and there very light feeling of maybe I am. Ya know but, no that won't work.
Now outside of here I asked two friends. They both agreed on some points that the strength varies amongst patents. I believe this mean is that there is some variables within people themselves that will have a reaction or not to it.
Reading through many of the posts here I'm not sure what to think. It seems some have similar experiences to mine, others profound experiences. Bottom line is it doesn't seem like it's very popular or commonly used form of ingestion, however listening to some experiences here it seems like it can be very strong and a more superior way. Making it doesn't seem like much of a hassle.
I think I have way more reading to do and more experimenting.
Any feedback about above please.
