well, i've posted something similiar to this once before when i was making edibles out of vaporized weed, and i didn't get much response. hopefully this one will.

in my previous baking experiences, i've used a pound of butter for every ounce of vaped bud. since i used four ounces of weed, i need for pounds of butter, which is an ungodly ammount of butter. i was wondering if using half that much butter and maybe more weed would make the butter better or worse. i can see how it would seem better, but then again maybe their are only so many fat molecules in the butter, that less butter would mean less THC absorbed by the fat molecules, leaving a bunchof left over THC in the vaped weed. or would that fact that it is vaped mean i could use less butter, since there is only a fraction of the remaining THC? dilemmas, dilemmas.

its crazy but i was pondering the exact same question last night. how much vaped material is too much that the butter will quit holding? i have still to experiment with vaped remains but i have a jar full growing by the day. how did the one ounce to one pound ratio work for you? i'm still not sure on what ratios to use :rasta:

I would go and search for absorbancy rates, and then do some calculations so that i can post here and look half intelligent, but right now i really cant be arsed. fuck you all, im getting pizza.

the ounce to pound ratio was good. i made some brownies using probably 1 1/4 pounds of butter, which surprisely didn't make it taste obscenely like butter. i made made rice krispies as well, with the remaining 2 3/4 pounds which didn't absorb into the rice krispies completely. there was a thick layer of butter that solidified in the bottom of the rice krispies. they tasted decent i guess. they got you ridiculously baked though.
