Looks good. Any news on the weight yet?
Well they were ready for the curing jars so I packed nine glass half-gal widemouths with bud and will proceed to burp and tumble for a week or so. Gotta wait for the weight until dry and final manicure is complete in about 2 weeks. No rush on my end, plenty on hand.

couple things.
first WOW, nice harvest, NICE jars!
mom's cannin never looked that good, hehehe.
2nd, on the Liquid Light.
I am more convinced than ever that the bleaching i experienced was due to LL.
i strongly recommend 1/2 strength, as my experinces are near full strength.
i also strongly recommend caution with young sprouts from beans.
my experience and thinking leads me to theorize the chemical maturity of a plant will have an effect on how the plant reacts from LL. My sprouts were in early week 3 when i first gave LL. the newest leaves after that had bleached out areas. these recovered slightly, and the leaves grew in size, but the spots are still there on otherwise healthy leaves.
it scared me a lil when it happened.
and it happened more than once, like again in late week 4.
as i have done no corrective actions to soil or any other conditions, other than reducing the strength and frequency of use, i attribute this bleaching to the LL.
just a word of caution.

I definitely agree with Rock on most of his LL disertation....:D I use full strength but burned a 2 week old Nexus with the stuff even following directions to the letter and in fact using less light than recommended on the bottle instructions.
In speaking to my hydro guy awhile back he mentioned that he thought using LL twice a week "was plenty" despite the company's stating it can be used every other day and that it was perfectly safe on any rooted plant over a week old. I've definitely found those two statements NOT to be in "the plant's best interest." ;)
Thanks for the words of advice. I am hesitant and conservative in a small number of things in life, but definitely in my garden. So far the Strawberry Cough and GDP have been on an LL-free diet. Now that they are almost a foot tall they will likely get a 1/2 strength "trial spray" of the LL... I will update in a while as my new job has me tied up 10-12 hours a day.
No complaints though, work is good for me and so is a paycheck... it funds experiments. Speaking of such look at the Cranberry recipe again soon, I'm baking a larger, more aggressive batch tonight!

Go get em Betty Crocker!! :D
Funny how stuff changes and plans go out the window. Had to speed up drying for a couple of uninteresting reasons and weight estimate is 248 grams from the grow. That means I was getting just short of 9 oz with an efficiency of ~ 0.60 gram/watt. Not bad but not badass either. Still trying to achieve 0.80 or better. Maybe next time...
