View Full Version : Kief hot chocolate

I've been collecting kief in the bottom of my new grinder for a few days now, and I'm thinking of how to get the best use out of it. I'm thinking I can simmer the kief with like 2g of ground up bud in some heavy whipping cream for an hour or two and then make hot chocolate out of it. Anyone know the best temperature to simmer the milk at to extract the thc without burning? Last time I attempted to cook with bud I burned my firecrackers and didn't feel anything :(

Simmered about 1.2g of dank and a bunch of kief in a pint of whipping cream over a double boiler for about 4 hours last night. The result was a thick, oily liquid that smelled strongly of cheese and pot. I didn't want to take my chances drinking it so I mixed it up with half a batch of brownie mix (substituting my stuff for the oil) and baked it at 325 for about 20 minutes. It was too oily to fully bake so now I have a ball of fudgy, half-cooked brownie sitting in my fridge. Saturday night I'm going to try and eat it with a glass of milk on an empty stomach and see how it goes. Hopefully I'll have a good trip report by Monday.

The best way to do it is with a cappuccino machine. Put the kif or ground hash, and the chocolate, in the milk before steaming it.
