Help!! Need Advice

I recently just moved here to Chicago. A freind of mine had a dvd that I loaned him back home. I asked him to mail it to me. He knows since moving here I havent meet any hookups and thought he would do me favor. He twisted up three and stuffed them in the DvD case then packaged it and sent it yesterday media mail. Now I'm sweating bullets over here. Although I appreciate his thinking about me should I be worried legally? Anyone out there have any knowledge of these things?

I'm not 100% (but I'm pretty damn sure) that if it gets picked up, you get in trouble not him. I also hope he wasn't dumb enough to put a return address on it. :rolleyes:

Anyhow, in the future just shrinkwrap it or something.. Wrap it up airtight and it shouldn't bee too much to sweat about.

why would drhobbie get iin trouble? couldnt he just say that he had no idea someone was putting that in there (because he didnt?) i mean you cant arrest the people who received the anthrax via mail just for receiving it, can you?

He put a bogus return address on it. Any idea of what there system is? What they do to check for these things?

uhhh you can try to track it.......if it gets caught he will have to tell tehm what he did or you will get into trouble....and he also shouldve changed your name on send to address too. it would stil get shiupped ot the right address....just couldnt be pinned on you if it came down to it.

He said he wrapped them in paper after he rolled them and that they were pinned inbetween the case and the cd. He stated they would not move.

at least possesion...... sometimes dogs, sometimes they scan shit and they could see 3 dooobs chillin under a dvd. i think there might be other charges involved too.

to tell you the truth i wouldnt worry to much cause like bogart bitch said its not really your fault. like if you had a bird in your garden and the seed has hash seeds in it a they feww out and grew and you didnt know i dont really think you could get in trouble...however i might be wrong but hey you'll find out sooner or later..and if they dont find it then happy days....sorry im rambling

Was it state to state? I wouldn't worry at all. State to state mail is hardly checked, it is almost impossible for the post office to scan the millions of pieces of mail that are shipped daily. Getting caught would be like winning the bad luck lottery. It's about those odds. I have shipped all sorts of crazy things in the mail for years and have yet to have a single problem or package confiscated. :)

Normally I would agree with you. But I've been told by others that even a joint if shipped through U.S. mail automatically becomes a felony.

they only check it real good if it is a bigger parcel,,,and if its going on a plane.,,,They want to find a bomb or something substantial like a larger quantity of drugs.

If your trying to freak me out it's working. Question do you have any real knowledge of this subject or just guessing? Personnally I really can't see them checking what must be millions of individual letters that come into chi daily. However I was hoping someone else out there would have been as dumb as my freind was once and tried it...Come on guys and gals someone has to have a success story for me...

P.S. I should get it or get arrested tommorow or thursday and I will be sure to post if I get it. If you don't here from me in a few days then well I'll see ya when I get out. :(

no dude im serously not tryin to freak you out. i have used mail to receive shipmesnts of oz.s of weed n shrooms. from cali to ga but they have all been thru fedex....and wrapped tight. im just not wanting you to think everything is 100% ok. it just never hurts to prepare for the wrost man. sorry if im freaking you out, but just saying it does get intercepted, this will all be on your friend unlesss he decides to fuck you over.
