I've been smoking almost daily for the last two months and have found that I no longer have an appetite when I'm not high.. Now I really wouldn't mind this if it didn't come with severe stomach pains.. Is there anyway that this will stop on its own? Or should I just try and not eat while high? Maybe that'll fix it..

Just try to eat light things when not high. I guess?

It won't do you any good to not eat at all...

Well I was thinking that my body was adapting to eating while high.. so if I stop eating high.. Wow I totally lost my train of thought.

Is this a normal thing though? Everyone else I've talked to hasn't heard of this happening before.

Um, that isn't the weed. You should probably see a doctor.
EDIT: Remember, if you see a doctor, you can tell them you smoke. They legally can't say anything to the police, and if you're 18+ they can't say anything to your parents either.

Well that's slightly disturbing if true..

On the other hand.. Would that be a valid reason to pick up a cannabis card?

Trust me, weed does not cause loss of appetite and severe stomach pains. One of its medical uses is actually to make people eat. You probably just caught a stomach bug or something, just get it checked out. Who knows, you may even get some pain killers. ;)

I don't feel sick though.. I just don't eat haha.

Alright well I'm gonna set up an appointment.. but I've always been wary of doctors.

Well i have been smoking for years and i dont get hungry AT ALL till i smoke, i sometimes have hunger pains but no sever stomach pains, i usually keep petzels and rice cakes around to help me eat, and if i dont smokem sometimes i forget about eating all together.

Just me, but i think its nothing to seek medical advise over... Good smoking..

Same thing happens to me. I can hardly eat while sober. I think its common because of the eating routine your body gets use to.

well I talk adderal for my ADHD (takes away my appetite) and then I smoke a fatty to get hungry I am POW skinny, my food gets turned into straight energy hence ADHD so think about this anyone who takes adderal will tell you it makes you very efficient so you want to do a million things so in school you have to remain on one thing so you sit. At home no one stops me from moving, so once reading a term paper I will find myself painting the crown molding. weed then makes me fell like moving is the worst idea so with a blood stream full of ADDERAL and THC im a stoner with a 4.00 sorry im only high right now so as I was typing the first line my ADHD was telling we I should reprogram the microwave in esp. to practice spanish (not kidding I full of energy).

Well I mean, the severe stomach pains was kind of the red flag for me. We don't know what's going on with you besides what you tell us, so it's really on you to decide if you need a doctor. If it's just stomach cramps or something from not eating, well there is an obvious solution to that haha.

Appetite loss is typically considered a withdrawal symptom. That is to say, there is a correlation between using Cannabis and experiencing a decrease in appetite.

You might try to eat when you know your body wants food, even if you don't feel hungry. You could also try eating less when you do use Cannabis, or containing it to periods of coming down when you feel sober-ish, etc.
