WTF Is this thing!!!

I found this fucker and some of his bretheren on the roots of my clones in my bubble cloner. I killed everyone i saw but this one was way bigger than all of the others and was easily visible. I would change the res water but there almost ready to come out. I just want to know what the hell this thing is and how can i avoid them in later uses of my bubble cloner?!

The first 2 pics are of this little bastard squirming around and the last one is of his punishment for destroying my roots.

Fly larva- could be fungus gnat, could be psychoda, could be a bunch of specia- tough to get a good read from the pics.

Clean the cloner really well between runs, fiter air intakes- if you have gnats in the room, get rid of them.

I did a bit of searching and that is in fact a Fungus gnats' larvae. I dont see any fungus gnats in my room but while changing the res in my cloner i found a dead gnat in the water so i assume that i had one that was pregnant and just laid its eggs but since i killed all of them or atleast what i could find they should be gone right?!:(
