i just got my beans and planted 3 in jiffy pellet's ( i know ppl say it wrong to start in jiffy pellets but i was willing to sacrifice 3) i also planted some bagseed i had so will see what happens i had started 1 a few days ago and it came out, a bagseed. my closet is going to concise of two cfl's for now 20 w ge bulbs the light fixture is a old bathroom light that can hold 5 light bulbs but i connected it two a old computer cord that i cut up and it work so far I'm not a electrician but but the wires were all the same so common sense i connected the color to each other I'm trying to do this on a budget so I'm sorry any cheap recycled parts i use so far i've spent less then $45 including the seeds.
the cabinet i had was free i already had it.
the trays were $1.05 at a dollar store
the light fixture i had got it from the goodwill for a dollar.
the lights were about $2 each
the fan was also $2 goodwill
jiffy pellets $2
water free

Hey, I'm growin hashberry myself at the moment. Is this your first grow? You're going to need a lot of light and more room eventually for your plants. You might be able to get away with that much room if its a CFL grow though. Good luck!

good size cabinet. good luck on everything
when you have all the lights pluged in you will prob have to think about ventilation.
and you can also use the y connector to get twice the lights

Good start, definitely need more lighting though. It's something like 50 watt per sqf.
Good luck with you grow

Lower your lights homie. NO bueno having tall lurp ass plants. Grow bushs, not trees. Keep it literally an inch away with that fan blowing right in between them. Definitely buy more lights too. Get at least 6 CFL's in there.

CFL's stay cool. Utilize this phenomenon :) The closer your light, the more it can take in. Flourescent light doesnt penetrate through space very well. It's light is very useful when its really close to the plant, but if its even more than 4 inches away from seedlings, you're losing quite a bit of lumens that could be taken in by your plant.

And you're going to have some serious tying down to do in that cab as well since its so short, or some early flowering. Your choice, but one way or another, your plants wont stop growing for NOBODY.
