i just got my beans and planted 3 in jiffy pellet's ( i know ppl say it wrong to start in jiffy pellets but i was willing to sacrifice 3) i also planted some bagseed i had so will see what happens i had started 1 a few days ago and it came out, a bagseed. my closet is going to concise of two cfl's for now 20 w ge bulbs the light fixture is a old bathroom light that can hold 5 light bulbs but i connected it two a old computer cord that i cut up and it work so far I'm not a electrician but but the wires were all the same so common sense i connected the color to each other I'm trying to do this on a budget so I'm sorry any cheap recycled parts i use so far i've spent less then $45 including the seeds.
  • the cabinet i had was free i already had it.
the trays were $1.05 at a dollar store
the light fixture i had got it from the goodwill for a dollar.
the lights were about $2 each
the fan was also $2 goodwill
    jiffy pellets $2
    water free
