My wee girl is about 2 weeks into flowering and I was wondering do you cut away the larger fan leaves espically near the bottom and if so, is there a correct way to do this.

regards

No, don't cut them, your plant uses them to absorb light. But, if you do decide to do cut them anyway, trim a piece of the leaf day-by-day to avoid stressing the plant too much. But, I'd only trim if the fan leaves were blocking light from getting to potential bud sites.

But, bud sites near the fan leaves don't really grow good bud mass. So, IMO, I wouldn't trim them.

When growing sea of green.. you will be able to tell which fan leaves are not getting enough light.. they will look sad... I would recommend cutting those fan leaves out.. they will die eventually anyway....

'''''''''iv learned when their trimmed,'''''' before flowering is the best time for the plant.'''''''call it the pre-blooming stage'''''''the beginning of quicker bigger growth of flowers from the bottom rising even quicker than if u didn't trim.
