hey i passed the urine and blood test. I failed the hair test tho.I told them that i was in the car with someone ppl like 5 months ago and they were smoking in my car.So is giving me another chance.I need to take another hair test and the last time i smoke was on Sunday and today is tuesday.How long should i wait b4 i take it again?What could and should help me with the hair test.Im cutting my hair today so they can take it from my armpits or legs again. whats the best shampoo there is to get it clean quick?

No shampoo is going to clean your hair of evidence of cannabis use, so don't waste your money. You need about 90 days of cannabis-free history in order to test clean on hair testing. I'm amazed they didn't bounce you out of the testing facility after that story about having been in the car with other smokers five months ago. Evidence of cannabis stays in your hair for up to a year, but hair-testing labs only take the most recent 90 days of growth, the part of the hair nearest your scalp, for testing, which is why the 90-day detection clearance period is pretty universal. well i know it wont get rid of it but can it at least cover it up for the hair to be sampled?

No, there's no covering anything up involved. The testing lab tests the hair follicles themselves, which is where the cannabis is detected. You could dye your hair purple, shampoo it 220 times, or shave it all off and require them to go after underarm or pubic hair (in which case they usually just write you off as a failure anyway). It's going to show up. Hair testing is very dependable and accurate and very hard to adulterate, fake or cover up. That's why they use it, because of its accuracy and its long window of detection.

Hang on, LimeCush. This is a stretch, but one of my fellow mods, our resident drug testing expert, has information about a shampoo that might help wash out some of the detectable metabolites. I'll let him post that info for you. It's a small study, he says, but when used in combination with a couple of other technques, it might be of some help . . . .

Yea i bleached b4 too...it did work..i was a real heavy smoker and i shed bleach from the laundry and and put it in my armpits and i passed.I didnt smoke for about 3 -4 weeks prior tho.DId had to retest me twice tho.Cuz i had no hair on my legs so they took it from my armpits the next time.
