Popeyes. The mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy are to die for. I eat the mild chicken, and my husband has the spicy. And popeyes has catfish! We have a KFC in town, but we regularly go 30 miles to the next town to go to Popeyes.

Both are crap, and I don't eat crap.
If I had to eat fast food chicken to survive, I'd choose Church's.

You guys haven't had chicken until you've had Brown's Chicken. Greatest chicken in the Chicago area! And their deep fried mushrooms are to die for! It's been over 15 years since ive eaten there though....probably cause i havent lived in chicago for almost 20 years. But i can still remember the delicious taste.

I don't think they're around anymore.
Since you're from Chicago,...
Did you ever try Harold's Chicken Shack? They are all over Chicago, mostly on the south side.
Best chicken in town.

Sure they're still around. Just visited the website today. They changed their logo style but i'm sure its still the same place. And no i've never tried Harold's but there was a sweet seafood place on the waterfront where my dad used to get awesome breaded shrimp. Forgot what the name was but it was gooooooooooood.

"Chicken-N-Spice" in Joliet Il. Or "Harolds Chicken" if your in the Chicago area. Note: you can see a brief cameo of "Harolds Chicken" In the Kanye West video "Through the Wire".

LOL I just saw this thread and I had Popeyes chicken tonight. Family meal 12 pc, with mash potatoes, and red beans and rice and 6 biscuits. Mmmmmmmmmmm...... Popeyes. Oh yes you have to always ask for honey. This way you can put 2 packets of honey on a biscuit for dessert. :pimp:

My sentiments exactly. The only chicken I get excited about is the home-fried kind.

you didn't have an option for "may i vomit now", so i had to go with other. any place that generates enough used cooking oil every day to run a small power plant is a place i prefer to avoid.
