THC in roach paper?

Someone once told me that after you smoke a joint to throw the roach in a pipe with the paper still on it cuz there is resin on the paper which holds thc. I know smoking resin will get you high but does the paper hold enough to make a difference?

no one on here is a scientist and most of the info youre gonna find on chemistry is heresay, but using my own reasoning i'd say that there is minimal thc on the actual paper. save a long roach and toss that weed in a pipe tho, because that has been soaked in every hit taken off the piece. i've smoked an entire Game blunt of roach weed before and i was higher than a kite on fourth of july

It doesn't make that much of a difference, IMO, but if you have a pair of scissors you don't mind getting dirty, just cut it up and throw it in, paper and all. It gets me higher, personally, but that could just be my crazy mind playing tricks on me. =]

There probably isn't a whole lot of resin in the roach paper, but there's only one way to find out. Save the papers from a whole bunch of roaches, then sometime when you're dry and desperate, fire up a bowl of roach papers and see if you get high. On second thought, don't do that, because it will probably taste like ass.

I think he's talking about normal joints, not any kind of fancy joint with your hoity-toity special features like cardboard roaches, hundred dollar bill rolling papers, or networks of cherry-managing nanorobots.

You could always just put the roach intact into the bowl and jam it a little into the hole. It would stand straight up and you'd be able to smoke it down to nothing.

smoking paper is harsh. i just tear the roach open, take the weed, pack it and throw the paper away. roach weed tastes like ass anyway; no need to make it worse.
