Recently, i was browsing through some pot magazine, i think it was skunk... dont remember, anyway i saw this thing that rotated around like a hamster wheel., and inside the hamster wheel were plants. They were circling around the lamp in the middle. Anyone ever heard of this. pro's con's?

they are easy to make, (sort of)

its just a big tumbler that turns - like a dryer with a fine screen for the sides of the barrel
as the weed tumbles around all the good $hit falls down to a collection plate : )

I think Eric was referring to a rotary garden- Omega type.

Pros- very high yeild for the size of the footprint

Cons- must be dialed in very closely
very high plant count
irrigation has to be perfectly balanced

Know some folks who wouldn't use anything else, some others who would love to sell theirs off.

Another con of the Omega garden- It makes NO sense for someone growing from seed.
You must have a large number of identical clones to make it work properly.

I love the hamster wheel idea- that's a good way to save power... a hamster-powered Omega garden, lol!
