Here we have an Old affy strain so I'm told.. The guy I got it from has had it for 25 years and every time its diffrent, It has never been consitent in its looks or taste. He doesnt smoke so he care's nothing about quality only $$ . So I (who Love smoke) am out to show him his and his plants potential. This is my batch #6, I have had all the normal problems, Heat, bugs, bad timers, light leakage from mother plant, etc etc. This is my 1st attempt at T5 8 tube set up, (formerly a 400hps setup) And no known problems have popped up , temps are good, 12/12 on 10-21-07 and now on fresh water, I may have started em too young? I didnt look for the signs, as I am a noob and wanted them to be shorter due to space. Do they look ok? Should I strip leaves for the last few weeks? They are ALL natural, No trimming has been performed. they seem small and not very fat bud wise, But lots of red hairs. They do Smell Awsome and have about 20% amber tichrohms. Any sugestions or better yet a pro to give me your opinion would be greatly appreciated. This will be the last time for this strain as plantskunk has hooked me up with a new begining . Thank you for your time.

Do not strip leaves. They create food for the plant. Everything else looks good. Harvest at about 80 percent trichrome at golden brown. Hydro be sure to flush with fresh H20 for at least a week before harvest.

they seem to be doing good. ive always been interested in the t5 setup. what made you switch from the 400 hps to t5?

Heat was the main problem, I was hoping these T5's would be the answer. Still hot but not so intense.

yea. i know how you feel about the lighting. i currently have a 400 watt system and just ordered a 250 hps system. the 400 watt was not that bad in my room (temp around 80) but that was during winter haha. since its summer i figure that i would have to downgrade unless i wanted to buy an a/c. and really dont want to do that because its pricy and kills the electric bill. im currently using cfl for vegging and will use the 250 hps for budding which will be in about 2 weeks. using LST method and it is working out great. i started off with 4 plants and one turned out male so im down to 3. im hoping for 2 females. next time i will def. go with clones or feminized seeds. check out my grow log in this same section titled "First Indoor Grow":rastasmoke: i was going to post some pics tonight but i forgot to grab my platform :( will do tomorrow around 11ish. later!:(

Keep it up; you're doing well.
You are not going to get the bud mass that you see in pictures where peeps are running 1k or more grows, but for flouros, you have a very good result.
IMHO, KEEP THAT STRAIN!!! Even if you run something else next time, you'll kick yourself in the future if you lose those genetics- old affys are beautiful plants, great flavor, top-notch for breeding too.

Thank you Sticky, I recall you told me to keep that strain. I wont let her go. Certainly smaller buds but the heat is controlled. Mabey I'll use the 400hps when winter sets in. Thanks again jointsmile::D

nice plants  everybody has their favorite maturity, but with the mentioned '20% amber trichomes', I would be hackin' the old girl down, I'm no fan of 'couchlock' ... :chainsaw:

Thank you! I was wondering bout 80%, I was estimating around 30 to 40% by the time the 60 day 12/12 is up..(7/21) I really want to get this one right.

"peace"? whatever.
Jealousy? Whatever.
And another bump of another old thread.
You are becoming a nuisance.
Here's what I base 'misleading' on:
" Actually bobbong is wrong, miracle grow potting soil is an excellent soil for growing cannibis and seedlings,"
Psycho4Bud deleted this one already but miracle gro is NOT appropriate for cannabis seedlings. It contains fertilizers that are too strong for a young plant in the seedling stage.
"Actually yes,you can clone lowrider and any autoflowering strain....all autflowering means is it flowers on its own when ready, rather than by sexual maturation and daylight hours...so provided you have a lowrider that is not flowering bluntwiz...it is possible to take a clone....and it will flower when its ready..."
Autoflower plants flower on sexual maturation. You cannot clone them effectively, since the clone has the same calendar age as the mother, and will not have a chance to root and veg properly before flowering, even if taken in the veg stage.

And this one I already found.
I don't think I have anything to be jealous of. Why don't you chill out and stop bumping year-old posts, huh?

:giggity:
Go ahead and discount the words given by the CultivatorFlamerTerminator, but do so at your own risk. Sounds to me like a little humility might do you some good in the future. Stinky's helped a LOT of people solve complex problems, and most of us are grateful to have her around. How many people have you successfully advised lately? :wtf:
