yea those could work, theyll do for now but id get more a.s.a.p.
and is that a cabinet? or like an enclosed area? if so, it looks really small and you will need to find a bigger area to grow.
a little bit of advise would be to trim those cans that the plants are in, so that the soil is level with the top of the can.
and also what do you have for ventilation? a couple computer fans would do you some good.

To be honest mate you can pick pots up for dirt cheap or from your neighbours lol. Keep us posted, Would like to see how this works out.

lol thanks i just bought some new pots today and transplanted them into them. just wondering though when i did the bigger one of the two some of the soil came off, but there was still soil on the roots, i put them into soil right away, will this be a problem?

ah ok, i wondered what ditched the cans meant. creative with the lights, but eventually you will need more and some more head room. if you can, veg them outdoors for the next month, the sun is free. or even better do the whole thing outdoors.

You got the best cheap bulbs.
Go to the hardware store and get some socket splitters so you can put more bulbs in your lamp.
And make sure your 'reflector' isn't covering the plastic base of the bulb.

when you say veg outside do you mean like now? even the little one?

i would say do it if you have someplace and can get away with it. if youre set on doing them indoors then try bringing them back inside in a month. otherwise i would let them finish outdoors too. youre kind of late but you will still get something if they keep living. not as much as if you started earlier, but with space and lighting issues(unless you have another place with more room) i think it will be compairable(sp) or better than what you will get with the indoors set up you have.
