YES!!! Cooking is my next favorite indoor activity other than growing (and one other that should be obvious).
I love that creative munchy feeling, where you go through the cupboards like a crazy person pulling out anything that looks promising, and trying to figure out how to combine it all into something that will be perfectly satisfying... OMG can I just say how much FUN that is!!!

I hate cooking and pretty much everything about it except the food that comes out at the end.

The beauty of having the time to cook, when you are not busy spending your day as a 9-5 slave, you can really prepare something nice, and you can time the cooking to start about 1 hour before you think you are going to get hungry. You can also spark up a nice pipe at the start and that will enhance your sense of smell and ultimately your ability to measure and time everything to the correct balance. I hate this 9 hour working day nonsense, 5 days a week, everyone living on supermarket ready meals because there is not enough time in the evening. No wonder is everyone is fucked up. Cheers to cooking!

I once rustled up a rapid munchie fix that was interesting. Pasta with this orange/salt/pepper/garlic grinder and some nutella spread melted into it. It was really tasty actually.

My idea of cooking a big meal is Hamburger Helper. Maybe if I had that fancy set up that Dr HaZzMatT Esq. has. LOL

Have a good one!

I love cooking. So many ways to be creative. And it's a lot easier than people think.

Anyone else besides me like the Food Network? I don't like all the shows but they have some good stuff on there. Sometimes it's worth it to put aside your dislike for the host/show and pay attention to what they're cooking. Anyways, the best show there IMO is Good Eats.

I started cooking at maybe 13, because my mother had a 2nd shift job, and as the middle child, it was on me. My older sister still can't cook anything past Raman Noodles, and my younger sister was just too young. I enjoyed it though, and gained much experience at it. My favorite thing to cook is either chicken pie (no veggies, just meat, celery, and seasoning) or marinated beef strips with onions and peppers and rice. I live in the South (US) so we still cook country style, and when I have the time I love to make cube steak and gravy, or fried chicken, but rarely have the time for all that. Those are Sunday meals.

nah i dont enjoy it whilst high, cause i just want the food instantly, although the process can be hypnotic, i prefer it whilst sober.

I love to cook, but I have to let Ms. pSteve cook on the weekend.
I'm not a commercial chef, but I do OK. :pimp:
