Instant picture not a link

Please forgive me if this has been asked a million times. :( I did a search but still didn't find what I needed.

I want to show a pic in my thread..... but all I get is a link to a picture. How are people showing thumbnails in their responses and not links? Thank you!

How do you do it?

Heres a quick guide

1. Go down to Manage Attachments
2. Under 'Upload File from your Computer' browse for the picture and upload it
3. Now press the paperclip icon near the font size, and smiley face options
4. Choose the attachment you want, now the words '[ ATTACH] random number here [ /ATTACH] should appear and the image will now show
