If you cant get ahold of mylar could you use tin foil on cardboard?

and yeah ive looked around a lil to find this with no luck

No, foil has poor reflective qualities and can cause 'hot spots' that can burn your plants. You're better off using something white if you can't get ahold of mylar....flat white (like flat white paint) is best. ;)

yea i think goto lowes and check for mylar if not goto wal-mart and check for emergency blankets they are pretty cheap...

panda film is actually better than mylar imho unless you are doing a microgrow. and even then, you have to pay special attention to keeping it clean.
the cheapest alternative is flat white paint.

i just bought 3 e-blankets from wal-mart for 6 bucks and it took 1 to fill my whole box up...

try the backside of cheap foil wrapping paper.
