quick couple of questions for anybody with an extra second. i'm in london right now, have only been here for a week. i'm looking for some weed and ive been told that camden town is the easiest place to find it. is this true? also, is there any risk of asking an undercover cop up there? i would assume not really, but not being from england, i dont want to take the chance of getting fucked. also, what should i expect to pay for an eighth? thanks

You can probably score in Camden, aswell as Brixton. Watch out though, don't pay before you see the bud.

Hmmmm. If your going to go to get weed from anywhere in London, be careful. Seriously. I'm not talking about getting ripped off either.

Weed is £15 - £20 an 1/8.

Camden is a good place to get it if you know the right people, but you dont. They'll be blokes in the market shouting "skunk weed" - i wouldnt buy from them at all.

Make sure you see the weed first, before you even take the money out of your pocket - but be warned, you've got a high chance of getting ripped off, or even robbed. I dont want to scare you, but it's best to be warned so your not caught off guard.

Make sure your always walking away from gangs, and NEVER towards them.


Infact, if i was you i'd just walk around for a bit, wait untill you see someone smoking it [there will be LOTS of people smoking it in the open] and look for a friendly person to ask for some.

And why worry about undercover cops? They dont particually care about weed, the only way you can even be arrested for it is if your smoking an oz in public or if you have a kilo in your car. Weed was legalised in south london a couple of years ago as a trail thingy - it might still be legal. Small amounts anyway.

Chances are you wouldnt even get it confiscated - remember, this is England - the laws arnt as pathetic as the ones in America.

But seriously, be careful. I've lived in East London all my life and it's got more and more dangerous.

When people started getting beaten up and such for just looking at a person the wrong way i knew that was the end of the London i knew. I try and remember it as the nice area - but living here these days and seeing the things we have to see everyday makes it hard to think anything but bad. It's not the city's fault though, it's just all the hoorays.

yah, ill try to be as safe as possible. ill probably check out camden and only take 20 pounds with me so in case something bad happens it wont be too big of a loss. hopefully being 6'8'' 250 will work to my advantage too.

Yeah dude, i imagine your size will help you out a little. I doubt you will get mugged or anything, but i know so many people who have fallen for "Give me the money and i'll pop in this door and bring you your weed back.
