So my buddy goes to a shop 'n buys 20 milligrams of some really good smelling incense for 21 bucks...

I tell him thats a rip off 'n that 20 milligrams isn't even enough to smell it, but he says its like 20 times stronger than normal stuff so its not even though I know you can get a gram of the same '20 times stronger' kind for about the same price.

Anyway the kid is gettin' all mad at me 'cause I'm tellin' him he got ripped off 'n he should just return it, 20 milligrams is .02g by the way. He told me I act like I know everything 'n I said that I was sorry for trying to look out for him and not have him waste his money then told him to fuck himself.

So seriously, is it just me or is he being ridiculous? Hes all mad at me because hes the idiot that got ripped off. He says he just wants to "try" the incense and if he likes how it smells he can get more off line, but like I said I doubt 20 milligrams would produce enough smoke to even smell that shit.

So whats your opinion on the situation?

Let your friend buy what he wants. You can say, "whoa, that shit is expensive, you really want to buy that?" in a good way. Try to avoid saying, "you're getting ripped off man! That's stupid to buy it for that much"

The stuff is a ripoff, but I had some before and it totally blew my head away. It's crazy stuff, but not worth the price they ask for. Plus it's really not that great. It's not a recreadtional or social thing, that's for sure.

You can get a shitload of 'smells' out of a gram, as you only need 1 hit to 'catch the aroma', so .2 would be more than enough. But as for the price, you can get a gram for $10-15 on eBay or online.

Hot damn, that IS a ripoff- depending on the strength of the incense, it should run 20 bucks for about 2 grams- unless it's liquid extract, and even then, that's still steep.

Nah, the only time I did it was when I got a gram of 20x...and it's not my thing. I can't imagine anything stronger really, I gave half to my friend and still used it for months. But I've seen 60x for like $30 a gram, but I'm all set with it even if it was free.

At first I didn't believe him, I was just like "man you sure dude, 20 milligrams doesn't sound like shit, that can't be right." 'cause I really wanted to get some too 'n I just kept tellin' him that couldn't be right and if so he got ripped off. 'n he was like "no dude its extract" 'n I was like "dude I'm tellin' you, you can get it way cheaper" I wasn't tryin' to be an ass, but he like didn't believe me or some shit.

I think he knows he got ripped off 'n is tryin' to justify it to himself, he was like "oh you pay for the convenience" but it ain't convenience if you can't even get a smell.
