I didn't really know where to post this so I'm posting this here.

A short while ago I decided I wanted to become a teacher, heading for a bachelors before I later on work up a master's.

I was wondering if anyone knew if I'd be able to still smoke weed and be a teacher.

Do they do frequent drug tests? None at all?

If it matters, at the moment I'm living in South FL.

that's a good question because i want to be a teacher, too.
and schools are really strict with that "no tolerance" shit.
i'd kinda be surprised if they did periodic/random testing, though.

I'm pretty sure they don't drug test teachers pretty regularly. Just don't get caught smoking because some states have weird laws that prohibit people from becoming teachers if they have violations like DUI and possesion.

Hope its possible to be a teacher and smoke without much worry.

Nah, they won't test you. At least here they wouldn't. I have had many teachers who were hardcore smokers. They never came to class stoned, but everyone knew.
