Hey, does anyone know if THC is soluble in acid (acetic acid -- vinegar -- to be precise)? I was thinking of making weed sushi by adding herbed rice wine vinegar to the sushi rice (you normally use regular rice wine vinegar) and I was wondering if it'd be possible.

Thanks!

That's a REALLY good idea. I really like sushi but havnt been bothered enough to get it for ages, but i'd really like to know if this is possible. Even if it dont work, it'd absorb some flavour, and herb goes well with something that's not too overpowering like fish.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking; the moistness and slight oiliness (depending on the fish) of the raw fish I think would be really nice when high, and would combat cottonmouth quite effectively...

Also, if the vinegar thing wouldn't work, my friend suggested cooking fish (like maybe eel) in cannaoil or cannabutter and putting that in sushi.

That's another good idea. I quite like skate cooked in the oven in milk. I supose if i got whole milk with a bit of butter i could end up making a white sause for it.

I need to start eatin healthy again - i've been living on burgers, curry and fish and chips for too long now.

ITE I would not try to do vinegar.
If you want to go for sushi that way, I'd look into one of the few sushi ingredients that actually contains fat- the spicy mayonnaise that spicy tuna rolls have in them- it's mayo and vietnamese chili paste, sriracha, the one withthe rooster on the bottle. You could make canna oil and then use it to do mayo from scratch, but I'm not sure how you'd get enough with the small amount that it takes to do up a maki.
