Just wonderin cuz my indica plant just got it's first set of 9 leaves and am about to start flowering it and was just wondering if you can tell sex by how many leaves...and if so, is a 9 finger plant male or female

No it's a myth to tell sex from the amount of fingers on your leaves.....I've heard of plants having eleven and perhaps more fingers too.

Oh cool, yea I thought that was a myth, when I was a wee one growing my little buds in the forest, me and my friends always heard that five fingers are males and 7 are females and we were stupid. But by now I should have known better.......and damnet, you meaning it the other way messed up my little comeback about mythbusters cuz I thought I was being pretty clever there....then again, I could be buzzed and just think it's funny myself right now.

# of fingers is dependent upon 2 things:
Strain determines the maximum possible # of blades per leaf
Plant health and age determines the # of fingers that a plant will produce at any given time. A very stressed plant or one that is revegging will shoot out a bunch of single blades to catch a lot of light really fast, and a happy, healthy plant will give you as many as it genetically has the predisposition for.
Therefore, CDXX has a happy plant. He gives his bitches some GOOOD lovin'.... :D

yea ive had an 11 finger leaf on one of my NL plants which turned out to be female, i dont believe you can sex on that though.
