IF, and it WONT happen because of my criminal record, but IF i was a cop, i wouldnt do ANYTHING about people smoking, selling or growing weed, no matter how big or small. Even if it was the biggest dope farm EVER discovered i wouldnt bust em. I'd ask for a cup of tea and a joint.

If all cops refused to arrest people smoking a plant then maybe the government would have to legalise it.

Yeah ive had cops just let me off with smoking weed before because they just said i was laid back and not aggressive and im obviously not out to cause any trouble but then you get the old copper type - strict and does everything by the book they are the bastards

of course you couldn't just do that.

1. if you was a street cop you'd have to go about searching lots of people on top of all the other aspects of the job just to get about a oz a month.

2. most police in britain are in pairs..... so your *partner* would have to be trying to bust people to smoke their weed aswell(which he/she probably wouldn't be).

3. if you was gonna bust a dealer for a few pounds/kilo's you would have to be VERY sly about taking some of the weed because they'd be about 20 cops with you.

4. i would've thaught pigs would get piss tested.

and finaly 5. it would be shit if the cops started going about searching you all the time just to see if you had weed on you..... so you could NEVER carry any weed on you..... and im pretty sure we'd have no fucking dealers left either.

so no you couldn't get free weed if you became a cop.

You can't even very well smoke, as a cop. They get tested regularly in the first place. They have evidence lockers that evidence is supposed to go to, and they keep very close track of how much is there and how much was supposed to ...

I actually have a friend becoming a cop in california and hes not full of shit. He says its the officer's responsibility to get rid of anything confiscated on his own free time. Usually they break it up and throw it in fields. The "evidence" room is for hard crimes...murder..robbery...shit like that. He knows a few cops that hes seen keep it right till the end of their ride a long and then just go home with it.
