Thumbnails will be automatically generated for JPG and PNG images.
Only links will be available for GIF images due to licensing issues with GD (graphics library utilized by PHP). In addition, posters may see PHP error messages when posting one or more GIF images - such errors will not affect the posting operation...the post will still be added as usual.

p.s. when uploading attachments, BE SURE to click the Upload button BEFORE closing the attachment window. Do not click away (open other windows, etc) when uploading or the upload(s) will likely fail.
