Need Help...

Deciding what to do here. I'm a college student, and I was just offered a summer internship at a music company in New York City. Normally I smoke weed a lot, several times a night. Now here's the thing... I'm not sure if they're going to drug test me or not. I already know what day I'm going in, and they haven't said anything about a drug test (I start on the 29th). I'm wondering if I can keep smoking, and then on the first day of work just drink one of those Omni Cleanse drinks just in case. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

Don't buy anything. Keep smoking, you'll probally be fine, I mean, your just an intern, it's not reall like they can "fire" you.

Really? One of my room mates had to take a drug test, and he and three other friends had smoked the night before. But they took the drink an hour before the test, and they all passed. Not saying your wrong, just citing an example of it supposedly working...

The don't work, it's too risky. They might work, but I'd rather stay clean than take the risk.

What do you mean by stay clean? Are you saying they can detect the drink in my urine? Why would they test for that? I'm really worried about this, it's like all I'm thinking about. I really hope they don't test me.

Oh, and do they have to notify some days before of a drug test legally? Or can they just tell me when I show up that I have to take one?

If the test are unobserved, maybe try to find out, I would recommend substituting. Then you can take your drug test high!:stoned: I was notified of my drug test 24 hrs before, so I dont really think they have to give warning. If its really important DONT rely on the drinks! They are too hit and miss! From what I see, more miss than hit! Some lab tests can detect some of those drinks. It all depends.

Can they tell if it's synthetic urine? Can I get it in a store somewhere, because I can't order it online. It is extremely important.

The ONLY difference between synthetic urine and real urine is dna. And they are taking a drug test, NOT a dna test! Hopefully you have a head shop or something like that where you live? Or you can get a clean friend and use real urine, but you have to store it in the fridge or freezer.

drinks in my opinion and many others share the same, are a complete scam. i wouldn't trust those any more than i trust the government. really wouldn't give it to much worry, afterall it's an internship. if i were you though, i would hold off on smoking until you find out if you are getting tested or not, and if not then smoke away :hippy:

Detox drinks are too hit or miss. I know people who swear by them and those who have failed. It is too hit or miss. They (the drink) either are performing a dilution, which you can learn about here and do for under $10, or they have a massive amount of fiber, which you can buy 10 times as much fiber for under $10 by picking up some Metamucil. Some people who do pass are also using the detox in conjunction with dilution.

It is pre employment, that means unobserved unless you tip them off or refuse to empty your pockets or take off outwear like jacket or coat. Keep smoking and sub, it is easier. Get a clean friend's urine and freeze it or keep searching online. Even if Quick Fix is illegal in NY, you will find someone online who still ships to NY. Then practice getting the temp right after you secure it to your body. Practice, practice.

I actually caved in and smoked tonight... figured I would just smoke this week and then stop about 16 days before my first day. I'm banking on the hope that they don't test me, because come on... I'm a freakin' unpaid intern. I'm thinking they would have told me, too. Funny how I have a much more positive outlook after smoking :D.

synthetic urine is not illegal in New York. You can get quick fix at urineluck.com. even if they don't test you, the quick fix has a 2 year shelf life so you can use it on a future job.

Well like I said, I cant order anything online. Using synthetic urine makes me feel kinda uneasy and criminalistic. Im just gonna keep smoking through the weekend, stop, and then get good exercise until 3 days before my first day, I think. Sounds like a plan, right?

Well it's not for a job, it's for an unpaid internship. And I don't think I have a clean friend. (haha)
