Just smashed my first bong

and a perfect bong it was. eighteen inches glass, with an ice catcher. nothing fancy but perfect for me. its name was Sani. the very first bong i ever got

i was having a little toke tonight, just relaxing. i kinda zoned out in the middle of the sesh watching tv, i totally forgot that i had been smoking and that Sani was right next to my right elbow. i get up to to go take a piss and hit my elbow on something as im turning around. and i just kinda watched, it felt like it was in slow motion as it just fell off the table towards the floor, SMASH, obliterated into hundreds of shards.
i just kinda stared at it, it took me like 10 seconds to realize what a MORONIC move i just made.
had to clean all that shit up and get the bong water all wiped up.
i bring my brand new vaccum cleaner that we literally got today, set it up and start sucking up some of the small glass pieces, but this vaccum is like some crazy nasa black vortex death machine, when i turn it on all the lights dim and it sounds like theres a pair of lumberjacks chainsawing a tree in my room.
as im using the vaccum tube to suck up all the little bits of glass i smell something burning, look at the base of the vaccum and is its like pulling up this brown rug its on and annihilating it. i turn the vaccum off, the rug is totally stripped where the vaccum was. basically bald, now i have to explain that to my mom.

smashed it, sani's gone forever man. :( 120$ down the drain and i guess im gonna buy a new one, so another 100 or so dollars outta my pocket. just pretty bummed.

I feel your pain, my bong slide recently broke then i ordered another one and then when i opened the package it broke!!! =/ I need to order another 1 i've been smoking out of my bubbler since but it gets clogged to easily, i can't be bothered to clean it so much,=, its long.

Since we are on the topic of broken bongs, let me give u guys a word of advice. Contrary to what you may have read or heard about cleaning bongs with boiling water, it's a baaaad idea. I was rinsing my gorgeous bong with boiling water when it fell apart in my hand D:

On 4/20 we were hitting the bong on the roof of the mall parking structure and then there was dead scilence and it was like the bowl fell out and broke in slow-mo. We all started laughing lol, but afterwards we were sad, especially my friend who owned the bong.

I just bought a bong just like that (I'd been babysitting it for months though with no problems), ice catcher and all, and within a week it got smashed by one of my friends. Fortunately I only payed 25 bucks.

yeah man the clean up was bad, like your so bummed and than you have to go wipe up the remains of what used to be one of your best friends, salt in an open wound.

Think i got it the worst, a couple pipes that have basically been the symbol of my adolescense thus far broke within a couple week period. These pipes were everything to me, one especially (was named skrinkles) went through every one of my friends (all my friends kept and used it for about a month) and then it broke... cut me deep man. I truly am sorry though, to me its more of the memories than the money.

I know how you feel man. I broke my first bong also. It was laying under my bed on a case and next time I come to use it, it has smashed. The joint must have been at the top and it had rolled over and smashed the hole joint.

I know what you are saying bout joints. However I knew this guy who dropped his joint in the toilet once. So remember they aint waterproof lol.

That's no fun :( That's why I'm afraid to get a glass bong, I've only been buying $25 small acrylics. I travel with it a lot, probably partially why I'm not getting glass yet.

my buddy knocked over his bong in the garage on teh concrete floor and he got so pissed (he was drunk) he threw his cell phone against the wall and then stomped on the remnants of the bong, ruining the slide and stem which were otherwise intact

Ive broke 2 bongs
i broke my first one when i was in high school me and my homies where out in my garage and where hiting my 18 inch (clay with glass bowl and down stem) bong and i herd some one coming up the drive way so i put it behind my chair really quick becasue the door was cracked open. when they walked in i relized it was my cussins that are hella square. right about then i leand back in my chair and knocked it over and it shaterd.

the second one wasnt even mine it was Member :toKalot's pieace it was a little all glass bong that he had brought to my crib and we where out in my back yard and i was in a poposon chair next to a table he got up set it on the table and whent to the bathroom i was sitting up to take a hit and my chair hit the table and knocked it of and it shaterd every where it sucked bad he hella blamed me lol.
