Hello friends and new readers. this is my new grow room where i will record my future grows, i will be starting a new grow in about a week or two. as soon as i get the seeds. i ordered some BC Big Bud seeds and i am receiving some sweet tooth seeds for free. i will be starting with the big bud but i am thinking of growing one of each.

well everyone i have received my seeds today and i have started the germination of 1 BC Big Bud seed. i thought that i was going to recieve some sweet tooth seeds for free but instead i got 10 free juicy fruit seeds. i am glad they cant count very good becouse instead of getting 15 BC Big Bud seeds for $45 usd i got 16 seeds. i had a good haul today. well let the grow begin. 1:45 pm Tuesday, May, 8th 2007 begin germination.

thursday may 10th i started to germinate 1 juicy fruit seed. friday may 11th 6:30 pm the juicy fruit seed had cracked and a tip was sprouting so i planted it in a pot. today is saturday may 12th 2007 the BC Big Bud seed has not cracked yet so that is 4 days in germination so far, the juicy fruit has not yet broken through the soil, but as soon as it does i will start taking pics.

that last pic was the root. i planted it wrong. i replanted it correctly and the sprout popped up out of the soil lastnight. here is a pic that i just took, it looks like it is coming along great.

sorry people juicy fruit #1 died last week. i am now growing juicy fruit #2 and at the moment it is 2 1/2 days old and it is about an inch long. i have a question for anyone who has grown juicy fruit before. does the juicy fruit have purple in the plant. becouse mine has purple in it.

hello everyone. well after juicy fruit #1 died and bag seed #2 rotted in the dirt, i realized that the soil that i was using was killing them so i got new soil. I now have 2 healthy plants. juicy fruit #2 is 1" tall and BC Big Bud is 1/2" tall. i have pics and i will try to put them on but i dont know if i can becouse this site is not 100% vista compatable yet. i cant attach pics

hey brooke im doing good. my last plant grow all gangly for the last 3 weeks of bud. reason being i served 30 days in jail and my one of my wifes friends raised the lights to high. but i got about 4 to 5 ounces out of that plant and it was the best i have smoked in years.

well i got the big bud because i wanted to grow big buds. i though i was going to get sweet tooth seeds free but my order went in to late that is why i got the juicy fruit, but i am looking forward to smoking it.

well i lifted the lights a bit yesterday to try to get my plants to stretch a little, it seems to be working good. they both grew about an inch since.

they were still pretty amazing looking, in your case a little stretching wouldnt be bad. it would make some really leafy bud. ive heard of those strains but not familiar with their growth patterns, so its just a thought.

yesterday i topped both plants so i get 2 top colas. i know they wont get as big as a single top cola would. if i didnt top them both i would have way to many branches. the bc big bud has 16 branches counting the two tops. the juicy fruit has 16 branches counting the 2 tops. now i know that my last plant grew buds on every branch and their were only 10 branches counting the 2 tops on it. but i managed to get roughly 5 ounces from it and it only grew about a foot and a half tall and from start to finnish only took me 40 something days to do it from seed. ( any non believers can take a look at my other thread called first time grower and i am stumped). i am thinking i am going to get alot of bud from these two.

i had the same problem. the best advice i can give is to try to find a seed in a bag or ask your dealer if he can find you one. my first plant came from a seed my brother gave me.

i made the decision today to to flower my plants early, i am going to start tonight after the light goes out i will leave 24 hours of dark then start a 12-12 light cycle. i am doing this because i have 2 plants in my closet that only has 1 foot of room left for my lights to be raised. they will grow atleast another foot in flower. i have some pics of what they look like as of right now.

going to take some new pics right now. tell me what you think. i have started the flower cycle. i gave them 24 hours of dark yesterday. lights came back on at 8 am this morning to start the 12-12 light and dark cycle. i know it is kind of early but i do have limited space. my juicy fruit is 37 days old 35 days in veg. my BC Big Bud is 33 days old 31 days in veg. i know i can still get a decent yield because my first plant flowered after 20 days.

well here are some pics that i took yesterday. the first are Juicy Fruit. the second set are BC Big Bud. i am unhappy becouse the BC Big Bud is a male. it has lots of little balls growing on it. the Juicy fruit is female, the tops of all the branches have little pistils on them. what i am going to do it let the male grow so i can harvest some of the pollen so i can pollinate a small section of the Juicy Fruit with BC Big Bud pollen so i can get a cross. i will put the pics on later this attachment thing isnt working right. it wont upload my pics.

stinky left some helpfull advice on pollinating, while the buds are still really small pollinate then so your whole bud doesnt end up getting seeded and all of the seeds will end up at the bottom of your buds, or just be carefull and paint one bud/branch with pollen so your seeds are all on the same bud instead of in every one.

he grew out over the juicyfruit. my closet is small so the oly place i could put it was the shed. it was built with clear fiberglass sheets for a roof. it is only 4 feet wide by 4 feet long with a peak roof that is 7 feet to the peak. it was their when i moved in. the BC Big Bud is doing good and it looks like some balls are about to drop pollen soon

you can add it to the bloom ferts or just water which ever you prefer. i mix 1 teaspoon of blackstrap molasses in a 2ltr pop bottle then shake and serve. be careful because it can cause mold on your soil. i use self watering pots and pour my ferts and molasses mixture in the bottom, that way if mold forms in the pot i can just flush it out. i gave it 1 dose about 1 week after buds started to grow. my next dose will be in one week.

started another plant last week. it is just a BC Big Bud. but i have a problem. it is about 2inches high, it is growing its third set of leaves and has 2 shoots that are 1/4 inch long. the tips of some leaves have turned brown. it cant be burn from lights becouse i am using CFL,s and they are about 2 to 3 inches above the plant. i will get a pic so you can see the damage. should i cut the brown tips off.

well guys i got a question. would 4 cool white CFL's putting out 6400k blue spectrum work better in veg cycle or would 3 cool white and 1 small soft white CFL putting out 2700k red spectum be better. and vise versa for flower 4 soft or 3 soft and 1 cool.

well the smoke wasnt to bad. had to cut it down way to early because my wife and i split and she ratted me out. right now i am growing a bag seed with my CFL's at 3 cool 1 soft because i thought that yeah both spectrums are better then 1. here is a pic of it i took today.

this post is for all the people curious about how my BC Big Bud grow ended. well my wife and i split and i heard from some friends that she was going to rat out my grow. so the only smart thing to do was to cut it down 3 weeks early and smoke it all before the cops came to check me out. the cops did come but it was about 2 weeks after the buds were all smoked, so the cop searched my home ( i allowed it without a warrent to prove i had nothing to hide) the cops found nothing and left. here are some pics that i took after i cut and dried the buds. they are still untrimed i dont have any pics after i trimmed it up.

for anyone interested on my lighting i am using 3 42 watt cool white spiral flourecent bulbs and 1 15 watt soft white spiral flourecent bulb. i am doing an organic veg cycle with a high nitrogen base compost tea. the flower cycle will be done with shultz bloom builder 10-54-10 with 1 good dose of black strap molases. during the flower cycle i will be changing my lights to 3 soft white and 1 cool white.

here are some new pics. i know that it is not 100% indica because the leaves have gotten longer and narrower. i think it is a 50/50 but i dont know. the leaves have maxed out at 7 fingers on each.

I WAS WRONG ALL MY LIGHTS ARE OF THE RED SPECTRUM but it is still staying short. just going to stretch a little in pre flower.

hey everyone sorry i havent updated in a while. since my last update i had my power disconnected so i had to put my plant in my bedroom window and hoped that it got enough sun and warmth to keep going. we had a couple weeks of sub zero weather, then a realy nice 2 weeks were the temp got into the 20's then we had one more week of sub zero then i got my power hooked back up and i put the plant under the lights again and straight into flower because the light cycle outside was less then 12/12 then i put her in the window she went into flower and grew very very slowly. when i got her under the lights the pistles started to grow faster and the crystals are big even thought it still has no buds. i have some pics that i am going to post for people to see her now after all her hardships.

well i have chopped this poor plant down to 1 branch and the top. but i have pollenated this plant with BC big bud pollen. i have a total of 10 seeds and they are almost mature enough to harvest. the branches that i chopped off had some buds on them, i dried them and smoked them and i must say for troubles that this poor plant went through and having to produce 10 seeds the dried buds were very potent. i got the chink eyes for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours i got no burnout and it was very smooth. i cant wait to grow my crossbred seeds to see what i get.
