So my friends and I recently have been playing GH a lot. I am the best of all of them but they say it's only because I play guitar. I say it has nothing to do with it but they keep saying it does but they don't know shit because they don't play guitar.

What do yo guys think?

I play bass and I'm pretty nasty at it, so yea I think it helps, but only to a certain degree

I dunno....I don't think real guitar has anything to do with it....it's all muscle memory....Like to a certain point of playing....I don't even pay attention and I can play all the notes(expert)....but latley since I haven't played for a few months I can only beat hards songs.

I kinda doubt that lol. You may think that because you practice more on guitar than on the guitar hero. If you palyed guitar hero like 6 hours a day (although I don't know why anyone would waste their time on it) youd be shredding on that shit too. Basically anything that you devote your time to practicing, eventually you'll become very good at it.

Doesn't guitar hero have like 4 buttons on the fretboard, whats up with that. I think I'll just stick with the real thing. Now if they made a video game that can connect to ure real guitar, that would be bitching.

fuck that i play guitar and im pretty fucking good but that game is tough for me...its very un guitar like...you never keep your hands flat across the fret board like you do when you play that game...
