I was in work release, just got out of prison, so I hade my famly bring me
my guitar, the staff went through it real good to make sure I was not
hinding anything in it, like I would be that dumb. I hade it with me for about
a week when they came into the house with the dogs to do rotine search
and would you belive those dogs smelled weed in my guitar case, I mean
it hade been years sence I had weed in there, no human eye could see it
I was fucking blown away, then they sent me back to prison, put me in the
fucking hole, even tho my piss was clean, any way just thought I would share
how good a dog could smell, the dog also busted the cook, but she was staff

Yea. That's why when you have a cold or hold your nose you can't taste food well.

Your tastebuds can only relate how salty,sweet,sour or bitter a food is. The odor from the food going to your olfactory receptors is what gives the perception of different flavors.

It's all subjective anyway. Things you eat don't really have a taste or smell. It's just how your body perceives a chemical. Rotten eggs could smell like a steak to a dog.

Thats probibly how my female dog is able to gobble up the puppies poop when they have an accident on the floor, she is not only cleaning up after them but its like a salsberry steak.

How long extra did the guitar case get you. I'm not an expert on K-9's but I think someone once told me that if there are several scents and there is one overwhelming smell, we will only smell that smell. However, K-9's will still smell every smell separately. This in addition to being able to smell minute traces of stuff.

Drug dog comes to our school and tech center several times a year, this has been in here since the beginning of this school year..a small flashlight with about a gram of weed stuffed in it that's on my keychain. Emergency stash :stoned: :thumbsup: dog hasn't so much as thought of smelling it.
