I could not belive a dog smelled it

I was in work release, just got out of prison, so I hade my famly bring me
my guitar, the staff went through it real good to make sure I was not
hinding anything in it, like I would be that dumb. I hade it with me for about
a week when they came into the house with the dogs to do rotine search
and would you belive those dogs smelled weed in my guitar case, I mean
it hade been years sence I had weed in there, no human eye could see it
I was fucking blown away, then they sent me back to prison, put me in the
fucking hole, even tho my piss was clean, any way just thought I would share
how good a dog could smell, the dog also busted the cook, but she was staff

A dog has more than 220 million olfactory receptors in its nose, and people only have 5 million.

An olfactory receptor is a chemoreceptor in the nasal epithelium that is sensitive to stimulation, giving rise to the sensation of odors.

In other words, they are little cells in the lining of your nasal passage that give you your sense of smell.

I wonder if we as humans have our olfactory receptors and our taste receptors linked.
If you plug you noze you cant tast very well.
If you stick out your tounge open your mouth you can taste the smell.
So if i fart i can basically taste it.

has anyone tried that test yet???
