lights outside?

Ok so I know when growing indoors in a closet or wherever during the dark period it needs to be pitch black with no light gaps.

But how does it work if you grow outdoors because you will have moonlight,house lights shining on the garden,street lamps. So how can you grow outside in a residential area because its not going to be pitch black during the night time???

the moon and stars will not affect cannabis in a negative way.......streetlights and houselights will. Typically people dont have plants near streetlights for security reasons but if its in your backyard you might want to think about lightproof cloth
