Any suggestions or improvements?

i just finished this home made piece out of bamboo a diffused glass female and duct tape
i would like some suggestions for improvement if anyones got them
i used duct tape cause i couldnt find a gromit that would fit

i dont suggest using tape. bad fumes and it loses its airtightness when it gets wet. Best thing is hot glue. works miracles. I suggest making it a slider instead. also how high up is the bowl?

its about 4 and 1/2 inches up and thats just the female i dont have a bowl
the entire thing is 17 and 1/2 tall
